N FLA | I had the chance to get pissed off first thing this morning. GMA had a guest on who wrote about the food system I guess. Well took his quart pitcher and dumped out 24 oz of "oil" (petroleum) into clear drinking glasses. Showing us how much oil goes into the production of a 1/4 lb burger. I guess making the point of how wasteful we are or something, i couldnt really figure out what he was trying to attack. Maybe how wasteful beef is, I dunno His book was called "Omnivore"...something, i cant remember. Anyway I hate seeing that crap in the morning. | |
