I hope you saw this previous thread and replies from 8320farmer who has made tile spoons as well. sounds like he has been very successful making them so they don't break.

Yes, that was very helpful. There were also posts from jdpastor that were well worth reading. If nothing else, it gives one confidence about trying a new thing.
