| Afraid? Seriously, you’ve got to be yanking our chain here. $3000/yr would get a person a brand new car with full coverage. It’s the guys like Bubba in your story that think they need more then a steering wheel, gas and brake pedal. Maybe pass on a couple six packs a month and a guy could afford the insurance premium? Ain’t gotta be one of them there rich folk to own a nice car either. If that’s a persons goal, find a spot to work on a wrecked vehicle, stop at harbor freight and pickup some tools, then just find the diamond in the rough. Is it going to happen overnight, no, but if it’s really something a person wants they better be willing to work for it. Sorry for the rant, just tired of first world problems. | |
