She lives in western Nebraska, she went to a specialist in Colorado Springs I believe.
Specialist gave/sold her a program that includes hearing aids that run a tone to block out her noise.
Did a very intensive examination to find the noise and pitch and what it was and what ear.
She said hers was in one ear which was unusual. Puts in hear hearing aids in the day time, plugs in her phone at night and it plays a tune to blank out her sound. Husband says it doesn't bother him!!
In time I guess it trains the brain to ignore the noise. The sooner you get to a specialist the better the outcome. | |
