Kettle Moraine, WI | Does the view count for a thread add a view for each time a post was clicked on or is a view the number of unique users or visitors viewed any post in the thread?
Example. A thread has an original post and 9 replies. If 500 viewers click once on each of the 10 posts does it register as 500 views or 5000 views? If each of those users go back and look at each post twice is view count 500, 5000, 1000, or 10,000?
Just curious seeing some threads at 5000 or 40,000 views if the viewership is that big or just that many clicks. I suppose when search engines gather info that results in some/many views. NAT comes up in conversations with various people and some NAT is more known than I expected though maybe people looking for same information landing at the same place. | |
