southern MN | Might look odd but a 10 and a 6 make it easy to open one side for most things, both when the width is really needed. 8 feet is tight to drag a lot of rigs through. Can put a support on the 6 foot and no sagging at all, but easy to move it if you need the width.
Pair of 10s would be better if you are still making the opening, I find a lot of big stuff ends up being close to 16 feet and a tight fit.
