Here are lots of guys in my area in the same boat as you this crappy, I cant wait for it to be over, year. I have 300 acres out still. nothing has happened for 3 weeks and the forcast doesn't look good.I would not say standing per say, I like to say unswathed. Looking at the malt vs feed market in my area all my barley will be cow turds by spring. I think the malt boat has sailed out of port on you also. Once it is close to dry start and go. I find the only advantage to barley is if it moves directly off the combine, then it becomes someone else's problem. If this is really getting on your nerves you could try consuming some liquid barley for medicinal purposes only.
