    Iowa | I usually run a harrow right as I see the beans start to emerge. Then it's run a rotary hoe.  If the ground gets hard you will prolly need to run the rotary hoe anyway.  And just cultivate if your weed pressure is bad.  If your using a tine type weeder the tines need to be close together to really work well. But I've heard of people not using them that much.   I went and bought einbock cultivator parts and fit them to my cultivator so I can drive faster at less rpm's. And I do have finger weeders that I put on a cultivator as well.  But like anything else if you can make something work for you go with it. |  |
