Your missing a great teachable moment here. You should take 40% of the candy of the child who worked hardest as a “candy tax” Then take that 40% you collected keep 2/3rd for bureaucratic fees and give the remaining third to a child who didn’t work to find any Easter eggs. That will prepare them for the life ;)
Unfortunately that may mirror real life too much, and create the opposite effect you are trying to create...... if you think about it.
