I’ve always lived and died by state fair rains

Last 15 or so years we seem to get more consistent rains late July and august.

Knock on wood it keeps going.

Those later rains really make mid to late May beans stick pods and then fill them.

I like to keep beans alive and filling till late September. It’s mid October before I cut a single bean and even then they are green stemmed SOBs.
