Never have been able to make April beans work.

They run outta steam and flower at the worst time.

Plant in mid to late May. Hit em with fungicide in late July and make em fill till frost.

I know some guys further north in deep soil can make it work.

Thinner soil nodes mean nothing if it’s hot and dry when it’s trying to stick pods and fill.
