| I would go with a Roku. Roku has the best way to get access to all the different channels. We have the Roku ultimate from 2018. Still going strong. We got the Roku 1 years ago and it worked until I retired it several years ago. Simple interface. I went that route instead of using the apps on the smart tvs.
I got the Roku 1 before there was a thought of the chromecast and google tv. There are a lot of boxes that run google tv. Some are cheap and some are a little more expensive but work better. Never owned a chromecast or a google tv box. Seems that the Roku comes out with the apps first.
