That’s pretty wheat. Very uniform. What’s the row spacing and why is it sown that way?

15 inch wheat planted with our bean planter. We don't own a drill and 15 or 20ft vs 40 planter makes it more easier for us. Several are growing 15 inch wheat in my area.

Good deal. I’d say if you’re averaging 85bu, you’re doing something right! Thanks for the response.

Tell us about the 15” wheat.
Yields compared to narrower rows?
Weed control?
Double Cropping?

Last year we averaged 84 bpa wheat im pleased. Makes it easier planting covering 40ft instead of 15ft or 20 ft drill thst is dang near junk and we would be renting. Yields are comparable if you are using a variety that's works in 15 inch rows. Where we buy our wheat from thry have 4 or so maybe more that work fine. We spray tsquare in the spring we just did spray yesterday along with fungicide and boron. I think it's easier double cropping. If your in the area stop by and look at it John
