Was this stored on your farm over winter or did you just receive it?

I agree with above, need to look at the salt out temp and see if it was ever cold enough to salt our, causing your issue.

We had the same issue with a bad batch from a coop once that had salted out prior to delivery, ended up taking 8 hours to plant 20 acres with all the screen and filter issues.
