We are looking at putting individual fluid shut off on our strip till rig to not double apply on our borders and headlands. Just wondering what any of you have used and if you like them or not. We are running a trimble FMD with EZ Boom and RTK the implement is a 8 row strip till rig with VRT. We have raven 440 harness on it now for our VRT but it could be changed to a 4400 so we can get more than 3 shutoffs or could a guy use the 440 and put in extra wires to control the 8 shut offs. We will soon be upgrading to an FMX also. Thanks for any help

If you use the Raven harness for a 450 it will contain wires for up to seven sections. The EZ-Boom is wired this way and would plug right in.

If you want to go with more than seven sections, booms 8-10 are in the other connector. It would be possible to add this and the sections 4-6 to your present harness.

Of course the extra wires would need to be present in the product cable that leads to the valves also.
