ask him to put a donor ECU on (can pull one from another tractor or combine with same level ECU) there is a procedure in service advisor to do it. I almost always make a point to do a donor before installing a new one just to verify. A couple hours of labor is worth it to make sure that is the problem before replacing the ECU
