Maybe put a swing panel in there to hold her for shots or whatever, then you won’t have to drive her all the way to the corral if you don’t want.
If it works I’d call that a success. Plenty of times I could have used something like that, dealing with footrot comes to mind. Don’t know how many times cows will let you catch them before they get wise to it.
