Nebraska, The land of corn and cattle | Our guy is $10/ton and in good alfalfa he has no problem doing around that 75-80 ton/hr IIRC. Said he used to bill by the hr but guys didn't like hearing that high $/hr rate even though it ends up about the same. He runs 3 grinders now all over the east central part of the state. Last I knew he was getting a new one every other year when he had 2, not sure now. All Haybusters with a big C15 or 18 Cat.
He has a loading arm on all of them with a scale
