Beresford, SD
If ya don’t mind me asking, how much per hour do you charge? My hired man just bought a grinder like that, be mounted on a Pete. I’m happy for him and encouraging him to put the hammer down.

I try to take the net off going into the tub grinder. I have time to do it when grinding with my H1100, so i do....except when covered in ice or tub grinding cornstalks....good luck!!!!!! I’m betting 50% of the folks flipping out about leaving the net on throw their bales in a vertical or a ring. I do like to rake it off, but occasionally I’ll say screw it.

Grinding some 2019 PP millet today. Wrap is coming off.....got time. Taking about 5-6 minutes per bale......getR done because if we get a ton of rain it’ll be 10 minutes per bale. Grinding alfalfa........yeah ya better have the wrap off and the bales staged.....dump’m as fast as ya can!
