SW North Dakota | I don’t know anyone around my area that takes it off before going in the grinder. It would take a lot of time when we grind as we grind for 3-4 hrs sometimes yet alone have more of a mess since lot of the hay is older so would fall apart bad. We do take it off all our bales that we unroll or put in the corrals though. I’m sure we have had a cow die from it but also have had cows die from everything else also. | |
