There are a couple near me going. I believe the gas engine in power house of one has been converted to electric but otherwise the overall system still functioning. The operator maybe is still using the setup for historical reasons or other reason, I don't know. I have seen a couple small ones that were shut off in 80s, lease still shut in and everything was left as was when shut off.
How many old style pump jacks are still in use?
