West Central Wisconsin | Yep... Still gotta clean pails eventually to keep bacteria counts down... Every calf born knows how to suck a nipple. Not many cows feeding their calves via pail. I find it easier to not fight nature. It also causes them to produce more saliva which in turn helps turn the milk into a curd to be digested. It only takes me 10 minutes to wash the bottles, nipples and holders in my commercial dishwasher. | |
