Is moose meat good as beef? I don't care for deer but buffalo was good and snapping turtle was great. I've never liked rabbit or squirrel, used to shoot them for dad because he liked them.
I hear moose is pretty good eating but can't comment from personal experience. They have a hunting season on them here now that they are becoming more numerous. When I was a kid you just did not see moose here. Or raccoons or beavers and squirrels. Used to be you could almost live on rabbit meat but its a long time since I've seen a jack rabbit. Just the odd bush rabbit.
