I'm guessing that a full-use (not prototype) vacuum seed disc would have to be printed out of high-end materials such as the carbon-fiber embedded stuff, and it'd have to be done on a higher end machine for a good surface finish. I doubt you could print them for less than what you could buy them for unless you own the printer already.
If you wanted to experiment with redesigning them somehow or you are making a disc for a machine you can't get parts for anymore then it'd make more sense. | |
