I would think it is a little more difficult to divide up land than cash or securities and have heirs think they are treated fair. Tax wise....their probably just stuck paying.
Now, I don't don't know anything about Hatcher Farms. I'm just proposing a scenario where there are no heirs involved that wanted to continue the farm.
