WC Iowa | I ran it for the first time this year on a 40 acre test. The farm it was on only had 10" of rain all season and there was no difference in yield on the checks. But there was a visual difference up until the middle of July when the crop was done and went downhill. I ordered it from Jerry himself and looong story short of what he told me if your OM is low (under 4%ish) that's where you will see the big benefit. If you're high OM and fertility you won't see it, that was my take. I run 2x2 and that is what he wanted to see for placement instead of infurrow. I can't remember if you can do infurrow or not, I want to say no. I will be trying it again this year hopefully it learns to rain again. I know of one guy in my area that has been running it on all his acres the last 3-4 years and says it pays after checking it 3 years before that. | |
