Subject: RE: Elliott manufacturing row control

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I think they look like a good plan.

I have SureVacs and they are OK. I have to get a bit tricky when backing into corners. Since I have ground drive I can purposely override my implement switch if I know I'm going to be backing into a corner. Then the seed drop stops just based on ground drive. If I raise the planter all the cells in the seed disk will be filled and planting stops just like prior to the SureVacs. I can then back in, lower the planter and drive forward and will get seen in the ground very soon rather than when the seeds disks get refilled which can be a fair distance. I then need to remember to shut my override switch off so auto swath will use its lead time ON and lead time OFF for the normal passes.

The Elliott Pro Drive clutches had not been introduced when I was installing clutches so I went with the SureVacs. I haven't heard good or bad about them.
