I like twins too. In the interest of full disclosure though I am one also.

What kind of brisket tag is that? We use Boc-loc here.


Actually the shed is a lean to that my boys stacked some round bales in front to block the wind and put panels in to give us 4 pens. Use it more than the barn. There is about 2 feet open on the front overhang. As long as a calf is dry, if they need to be penned they go in here.

I am twin as well, but my brother doesn't make me any money :)

The tag is a Permaflex, I would go back to Boc Loc in a second if they changed the tag composition so ink would burn into them. I dont like pre numbered as some of my numbers wore off in only a few years and I want a year letter on the tags. Retention is pretty much 100% in Boc Loc. Not the biggest fan of Permaflex due to hasp breakage or pulling out, but ink will burn into them and we have never had a number wear off.
Retention on the Permaflex is maybe 98 percent.
