But what difference does it make to environmentalists if something is made 'here'... or in China? Wouldn't it be better to make it here with the best known practices available, rather simply be held hostage by a country that may or may not use any type of 'clean mfg'?? If it's about individual countries bragging rights to be the 'Clean leader'... but all they have done is moved the point of infraction, then to me, it's all for nothing. |
