| Is it only at night? Check alternator diodes and make sure not charging over 14 volts. check battery ground between battery and frame and between cab negative and frame behind cab. Check bearing in both upper and lower feedrolls. turn rolls to make sure nothing rolling around in them. Remove lower roll and clean out all grease and rust and check that there are no nicks in harness. make sure all removable straps and hardware are not magnetic. use a cheap old compass. check that no one has welded on head near intake. once again use compass to check magnetized. make sure the rubber stops are in good shape and r holding upper rolls at leat one inch above lower roll. make sure no two way radio in cab. they cause interference on modules. | |
