Subject: Corn stalk rate of deteriation

Southeast MN
Been waiting for things to dry out and thinking ahead towards next year's rotation. Has anyone seen any studies about bt or bt/rw traits affecting soil microbes decay rate on corn stalks?

I know the healthier plants leave a tougher stalk and am wondering about things to do to reduce the residue in my notill corn on corn. Some fields have 3 years of trash in them and I'm not excited about getting out the chisel plow.

Thanks
