I agree with corn touching the roof. I bought a grain probe at Louisville a year or so ago that has multiple two foot extensions so I can basically pull a sample from anywhere I want in a bin up to about 8 rings high. It also has a thermometer you can put on the end of the probe to check grain temp. It cost about $200 but it doesn't have to save much grain to pay for it self.
