| It all depends on what nozzles you equip it with. As a general rule, boomless nozzles are a lot coarser than what we'd spray in crop as they are spraying a swath of 6-10' or more. So, you wouldn't be getting as precise of coverage, and some boomless nozzles have fairly poor distribution down the swath, so keep that in mind.
Sprayers 101 had a pretty good review of what is out there for boomless nozzles by themselves. With that, you could build a boomless sprayer however you wanted. Whether it be a central manifold bank that is spraying out, or just a micro-boom that might be just under the width of the ATV and have the 2 nozzles out the sides spraying out far, and the 2 nozzles on the back side filling in the rest.
