Strathcona, mn | The Steiger has mostly truck components that can be sourced anywhere other than at case. The Steiger is just cheap brute pulling hp. No plastic on it. Cab is also comfy, ac can will cool ok if it works. The hydraulics aren’t anything special but will lift implements fine. I believe the st251 has a 855 Cummins and can easily be turned up to 350-400hp with a little knowledge. The tractor frame, tranny, rear ends, and drop box are the same as the larger hp Steiger. Parts are available through big tractor parts. | |
