Do the beans really need the phosphate if your yields were better with the drill? I've only drilled beans three years now and haven't put any fertilizer down. We put on phosphate with our drills for wheat and milo and figure we have enough carryover if the beans need it. I've only drilled the beans solid 10", but seen some neighbors planted 30" this year get a lot taller than mine but wondered about any yield difference.
