We seed at 3/4", between 4.5 and 5lbs/acre. This year it was all Invigor 5440 and equated to between 9 and 11 plants/ft2, which is at the high end of the canola council recommendations. I think tkw was 4. We might lower our seeding rate next year, but I like having the extra plants in case of flea beetles or frost, had some fields freeze bad this year, probably lost 50%+ of the plants, but yields were still good.
