Akron, Colorado | Looked a little at the Prostop E but then after hearing the cost I thought if a person goes that route why not go to dual nozzle system. So Hypro makes the Duo React and Arag has the Seletron. Looks pretty interesting being able to switch from one set of nozzles to the other or a combination of the two. Read about some initial problems with the Duo React on a UK farming forum but that was a long time ago and they probably have it ironed out now.

Looks to me like if you were setting up a sprayer from scratch, aka no rate controller gps or anything the Arag might be a decent way to go because their monitor does all of that at a decent price. Otherwise it’s buying a lot of duplicate components.

In either system you’re still increasing pressure to increase rate until the other nozzle switches on and it drops again. So that begs the question, if you’re spending the money it takes to do that, would a Capstan Pinpoint be a better return on investment then? PWM rate control has a really wide range per nozzle while keeping pressure constant and individual nozzle shutoff. I just had a demo of a Capstan Pinpoint system yesterday and it’s got me seriously thinking. Not so much about a Pinpoint because of the cost, but an Evo which controls by section.
