I wouldn’t say Deutz is a bad engine, I’d rate them above Deere engines. They have had there issues like all manufactures do. IMO the biggest problem is that fendt is trying to get to much power out of the Deutz engine. Now that they have the MAN in the gen 6 900s and in the 1000s they should put the 7.1 litre Deutz into the 800 series I think this would eliminate most of the engine problems. Just my 2 cents
