NW Illinois | We are pretty much a green farm but bought three red quads used because they could be bought so much cheaper. We have two 550s and a 600. I always kinda wished they were RX’s but this fall we rented a 620rx to apply NH3 and I can honestly say I would not switch the quads to green. The only advantage I saw with the Deere is we run Deere guidance on our red quads and it doesn’t work as well as it does on a Deere. Other than that the Case feels more
Operator friendly, much better vision out of the case and if you’re crossing chiseled ground the three bogey system on the case rides better than the two bogey system on the Deere. The power on the red quads seems really good as well. | |
