Maybe hedgefund person should have managed the risk a little better.
The pension funds that have projected 8, 9, 10 percent returns for 3 decades and ended up producing 2, 3, or 4 percent...those pension funds??? The one's where promises made to people might be 150 to 200% of what they have in assets...those pension funds? Again...no sympathy here for people who couldn't do math...pensions of 100% of your last year's wages after you've worked 20 or 25 years...not...sustainable. The math never worked as the life expectancy increased, but nothing else changed. Just make the ROI on the fund 7%...next year we'll call it 8%...and it does 3 or 4.... | |
