Subject: RE: Question on round cab Deeres

ND
Since you want to start a color war, I guess I will answer:

1. Those doors/front of the cabs aren't square, the appear to have a round curve. I spent a weekend in a round cab, by hour 4, I was putting in ear plugs. I thought our Versatile was loud, but either my uncle's are special or they are just loud. He just put in new cab kits, I think they are 4440s and 4430s, to me since they kept that styling for what? 20 years? I would have to look at the numbers.

Also I do not see anyone calling IH's 86/88/Magnum cab by its name, why should I call Deere's cab by its name? All I've seen here is "IHC'S cab that the doors open the wrong way".

2. Reread my OP. I was not complaining, I was asking why Deeres do that compared to Cummins, CDC, IHC, etc, as, well, why do they start like that when everyone else from that time starts "nicer".

3. Not sure why you think I'm complaining about tractors I dont own, but ok. I ask a simple question, which it appears others had too, and then theres always some who avoid it and start a color war as always.
