| I just dont understand how one can justify spending 40-70 thousand on a pickup. I know they're nice, but thats most or all of a new chore tractor, or a good old tractor and a nice implement or two. Or, as someone else said, a SOLID investment for retirement.
Sure new is nice, but you buy a 2000-2005ish truck right now thats a gas half ton or 3/4 ton for like $4000 total. Add a few things, do all the maintnance and maybe some brakes and tires and you're at $6k. Of course the engine could let loose and you're out $5k for a new one, but thats still cheaper than dropping $60,000 up front or whatever.
I've bought my last new vehicle, thats for sure. | |
