Thanks for the info. I understood the newer models to be half synchronized. I didn't realize there was still a pedal activated clutch break. But I still think the wet clutch would be an improvement. My old 846 is true "constant mesh". Two sticks with nothing synchronized. It is a handful on the road. And a dry truck clutch with a burned up break means 30 seconds stopped with the clutch in to gently find a gear. From what I can tell, I need a 9X82 series or newer for the improved hydraulics. I'll try to hold out for a 9482 or 9682, but there don't seem to many available that don't have 7000 hours plus. I had to have the top end of the engine and the transmission rebuilt between 7&8000 in my 846, so would like to have a few years use in a blue versy to get to that point.
