Iowa | I don’t mind the smoke - but as someone who still farms with this era tractors I can tell you it changes what you do. I have a Allis 7060 with the 426, they are like the Deere and known to be cold starters. During harvest you make sure that tractor either makes it home, or has a good can of ether in it if it’s going to be below 30. My Ih tractors I don’t even think twice about, I’ve never had them not start after running the day before. This past year I used the 7060 on the auger, same deal you made sure it was plugged in or it might not start. | |
