I do not know why it was so hard to keep the orange tractor when they have a yellow a red the color could not have ben that hard. That being said what kept AGCO going is when it bought the world wide holdings of Massey Ferguson it put them on the map. Like in South America Massey had like 60% market share. In other parts of the world Massey did not take the hit like in North America they had no break in having a complete line to sell. Combines tractors and the full line . Here we lost combines for s short time and a 4wd. And dealers and customers were rightly pissed because over night the combine deal was over. I remember dealers had orders and taken trades sold trades only to find out the new combines were not coming. There were still a lot of Massey combines out that resale went to crap parts were in some cases hard to get. But that never happened in the rest of the world.
