It seems like every brand has outsourced a some of the major components of their tractors at some point (JD950 a yanmar!), so blaming failure on a deutz engine (very reliable in our Gleaner combine) or whatever is not a good reason. The one thing agco did do best is source from or aquire a company that had a better product for their line such as cummins, sisu engines (Valtra-Valmet) and Fendt CVT instead of redesigning the mousetrap. Yes they have been confusing with colors but guess that's what marketing does to transition to upgraded lines. I have two orange tractors (2001, 2009) that are basically massey in the evolution period, and they were and still seem to be ahead of their time, and definitely a better bang for the buck. Just my 2C
