Sad part is I felt a little guilty for taking the 5k I got. I dont need it, doesnt mean I cant put it to good use though. Then I saw the retirement age guys with a few hundred acres or more paid for maxing out, so netted 100k in 19. Other businesses that were affected just as little as me getting 90-200k. The guilt has slowly went away.
Sad part is unless they change the rules again you are going to get screwed Vs somebody that didn't have the amount forgiven or didn't sign up earlier. IMO it is wrong to not allow folks like you to amend your loan to get the difference.
