What I have never understood is why they when with challenger for several year when they only had a licensing agreement. Why not use a trademark you already own.
In the hilly PNW steel track Cats took over the country right after the horses. Cat owners were just as loyal to their brand as AC owners were. The Cats developed into the Challengers and would have been a total disaster to the loyal following if they changed it cold turkey. Twenty years later they may be getting the same result if doing away with Challenger or Gleaner.
