I hope he does stop the keystone xl pipeline! If you knew where they were trying to put it through Nebraska you would know why. The proposed path they have will go through areas where the ground water levels are near ground level. There are places this pipeline would be buried BELOW the water table!! Tell me how you clean that up WHEN it leaks.
Most people don't or don't want to understand that route could ruin one of or possibly the largest concentration of clean ground water in the US.
Had the XL people had laid it beside the existing pipeline which they have ROW for, it would have been built and being used already. But instead, they would rather piss people off and spend millions on lawyers.
