Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I didn't have the problem of needing to move branches even though the data came from two different Insights. They fell into the proper spots on the management tree. My problem was the duplication mentioned earlier.
I found by trial & error that the newer versions of SMS allow multiple branch deletes to a point.
For example if I expand my tree and see the duplications mentioned, I can Control-Click on several and then delete those branches more quickly. I'm not sure on the limit of the number of branches that you can Control-Click and then delete. I first started with a couple and then got braver. If you get "too greedy" with this process, SMS seems to freeze. I found that doing about five at a time is a workable number.
I could get the job done by deleting one branch at a time but then the tree collapses and I need to reopen it back to the next spot. This took quite a bit of time since there were many duplications.
Possibly some of these issues will be addressed in the firmware release V 4.x which is supposed to be out before Spring. This version is needed for Seed Command among other things. Since this is a major jump from V 3.x to V4.x, I'm assuming that several additions and changes might be involved.
